The A.K. Warren Water Resource Facility (Warren Facility) is the Sanitation Districts' oldest and largest wastewater treatment plant, serving a population of approximately 3.5 million people. At this facility, not only is wastewater being cleaned, but there is also food waste recycling, nutrient recycling, and a green energy power plant. See for yourself the many ways the Warren Facility serves LA County. This is primarily a driving tour as guests will be shuttled in buses around the site.

After the tour, stay and visit the adjacent Bixby Marshland, a wetland restored by the Sanitation Districts that is now home to a wide variety of plants, birds, fish, and animals. Come and learn why this marsh is essential to LA waterways.
