What’s the A.K. Warren Water Resource Facility?
2
The A.K. Warren Water Resource Facility is the largest wastewater treatment plant owned and operated by the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts. This 280-acre facility has been in operation since 1928 and serves about 5 million people across Los Angeles County.
The Warren Facility treats ~240 million gallons of wastewater every day and produces biosolids and green energy on site, helping protect public health and the environment while converting waste into valuable resources. We’re excited to host the Clean N Green Fest right here at our Warren Facility!
